The All New Antopiausa  Antfarm Capsule™

With the better part of a decade raising honeypot ants and thousands of colonies raised since AntopiaUSA’s inception, we know what this species actually needs from a nest. Last October we expanded our operation and broke ground on a honeypot-only lab — a dedicated facility built to support one of the most important honeypot ant projects we’ve ever undertaken. We can’t wait to share more when the time is right. Inside that lab we put every major US nest manufacturer to the test alongside our own designs.

The results weren’t close.

Our systems required less maintenance, fewer interventions, and outperformed the competition consistently enough that we stopped being surprised by it. The AntopiaUSA Antfarm Capsule™ was proven in that lab under real colony conditions. What we found: failure was far more difficult to achieve than success. Monthly upkeep takes under one minute — then the nest doesn’t need you again for at least three weeks.

Everything connected, nothing wasted. Built for Myrmecocystus. Proven on the hardest keeping conditions we could create.

What’s Included: AntopiaUSA Antfarm Capsule™ Nest — 2 tubing ports (½” OD) | Low-footprint Outworld — 2 tubing ports | 2x ½” OD nest/outworld plugs | AntopiaUSA feeding tweezers | Large feeding dish | Antfarm Capsule Blackout Shield (free gift)

Why ½” OD Tubing Ports? After excavating four abandoned honeypot ant nests and studying natural tunnel dimensions firsthand, we found that ⅜” simply doesn’t reflect what’s happening underground. We bumped every port and tube to ½” OD. Larger workers move freely. Bigger chunks of protein reach the brood chambers without obstruction. The bottleneck that quietly limited colony growth in some of the hobby’s most popular species — eliminated.

Proven on dozens of species for 2+ years: All known Myrmecocystus species | Camponotus CA-02 | Pheidole rhea | All Pogonomyrmex species* | Acromyrmex versicolor | Camponotus discolor | Dorymyrmex spp. | Neopanera sp. | Many additional species

*Pogonomyrmex thrive in this setup but may deposit debris on the glass tube walls over time, occasionally obscuring the viewing window.

Queens and colonies sold separately at antopiausa.com. Species-specific shipping restrictions apply based on recipient’s state.
