Antopiausa LLC ("AntopiaUSA," "we," "us") operates antopiausa.com and sells live ant colonies, queen ants, ant farms and ant-keeping supplies. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Questions: antopiausa@gmail.com

1. Information we collect

You give us:

Name, email address, shipping address, billing address and phone number when you place an order.
Payment card details, which go directly to our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
The contents of emails, contact-form submissions and messages you send us.
Your email address if you sign up for stock alerts, care guides or our mailing list.

Collected automatically when you visit:

IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, and similar analytics data.
Cookies and similar technologies used for the shopping cart, site analytics and advertising measurement.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Ant farms are popular gifts for children; orders should be placed by a parent or guardian.

2. How we use it

To take, fulfil and ship your order, including live-arrival guarantee claims and replacements.
To confirm which species may legally be shipped to your state under our USDA permits.
To answer your questions and provide care support.
To send order updates, and, if you have opted in, restock notices and marketing email.
To understand how the site is used and to improve it.
To measure and improve our advertising.
To meet tax, accounting and regulatory obligations.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information.

We share what is necessary with service providers who work on our behalf:

Squarespace receives site and order data to host the store and process orders.
Stripe receives payment and billing details to process payments.
Shipping carriers (UPS, USPS) receive your name, address and phone number to deliver your order.
Google (Analytics and Ads) receives site usage data and the advertising data described below.
Email and support providers receive your email address and the contents of your messages so we can reply.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our terms, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business.

Advertising and Google Customer Match

We share customer information, including email addresses, with third-party advertising platforms, in particular Google, for advertising purposes. This includes uploading customer lists to Google's Customer Match service so that we can show our ads to our existing customers, exclude them from ads intended for new customers, and reach people with similar interests.

Information uploaded this way is hashed, meaning it is converted to an irreversible code, before or upon upload. It is used only to match against existing accounts and is not used by us to identify you on any other service. Google's handling of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

You can opt out at any time by emailing antopiausa@gmail.com with the subject line "Ad Opt-Out." You can also control ad personalization directly at myadcenter.google.com.

4. Your choices and rights

Marketing email: unsubscribe using the link in any marketing message, or email us.
Advertising: opt out as described in section 3.
Access, correction and deletion: email antopiausa@gmail.com and we will respond as required by applicable law. We may need to keep certain records for tax and regulatory reasons.
Cookies: most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies. Parts of the store may not work correctly without them.

California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act you may request to know what personal information we have collected about you, request its deletion, request correction, and opt out of the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Use the opt-out address above. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

5. Data retention and security

We keep order records for as long as needed to run the business and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
